Re: Welsh Week

Just a quick update to say thanks to Bryce and George. I had a great time with them and the venue Radnor Revivals was brilliant, https://www.radnorrevivals.com/ We were blessed with great weather and some fantastic rides and views . Nearby the Crossgates bikers cafe served a very good breakfast for ...

Just thought I'd mention , that as the European election is on while we are away , you may want to make provision for a proxy or mail vote before we go.

Re: Mono keihan exhaust

Thanks for the reply Neil, I have both a heat gun and a blow torch I think I'll start off with the heat gun and resort to the blow torch if the heat gun can't cut it ! I'm glad you said no cement as I prefer that as in future it may be I need to get the silencer off to aid wheel removal roadside, it...

Mono keihan exhaust

I have today moved my rear wheel to replace the tyre and decided with the wheel removed to change the silencers (the existing ones have tiny rips by the rear hanger) I had no trouble removing the bolts on the rear hanger and the clamp but I cannot get the silencer free off of the H tube that it conn...

Motorworks have a selection of levers both new and s/h that fit your model of bike, maybe they have something suitable. https://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Shop/Parts.php?T=5&NU=10&M=20&Ct=OA&SbCt=BA_10_20_OA_60 https://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Shop/Parts.php?T=5&NU=15&M=20&Ct=OA&SbCt=BA_15_20_OA_7...

Re: R80RT mono tube or tubeless pro's & con's

If I remember correctly tubed tyres are sized in a format that includes the rim section but tubeless are sized in a different format which is where I was having bit of a problem.

Thanks CV, when I looked there was 2.50 2.75 3.25 etc so I was getting confused which to get.

Re: R80RT mono tube or tubeless pro's & con's

Thanks Dave , not ruling out getting the wheels coated , I haven't found anywhere local that could do it at around the price quoted above plus they didn't know much about bikes or what to do about the wheel bearings etc which didn't give me any confidence ! So at the moment I just want to get the ty...

Re: R80RT mono tube or tubeless pro's & con's

Hi guys, having been caught out by this again, I've decided to go the tube route. Can anyone tell me what size to order for a R80 mono please.

I know the rims are 18" but the other dimensions are confusing me !

Thanks

Re: ULEZ lifeline for older bikes

I'm grateful for all the information, especially if it makes a South of France into Italy trip more possible as my brother has restricted holiday periods and we don't want to waste days traveling down the motorways, if we can sleep while the train wizzes us to where we want to get to that's a big bo...

Re: ULEZ lifeline for older bikes

Thanks CV, My oldest airhead is 35 years old and so falls short of UK historical status, I've already had a speeding fine from Austria (family holiday in the car) and was wondering if Paris has the 1994 big brother system that we have in London where every vehicle that enters the zone is photographe...

Re: ULEZ lifeline for older bikes

Many thanks for the information guys, do you know how hard it is enforced as I would have to get the bike on the train at the time the train company says, I believe it's a overnight service but I think I have to be there before 20.00.

Hi CV,

I've had a scroll down through this section and done a search on Paris emissions but couldn't find any other than this thread.

If you have any further information / links etc I would be very grateful.
