Thanks but it's still the same,
Could it be because I'm abroad ?
I'll try it with my vpn when I get back tonight.

Re: Intermittent ignition problems

http://vintagebikemagazine.com/technical-articles/boyer-trouble-shooting/ The starter button is unlikely to be the problem, the kill switch only slightly less so. More likely is the ignition switch, or a fault in the wiring from it which supplies power to the ignition system. If you have a in line ...

Re: New owner of K1600 major service advice

Hi, Welcome to the forum, I'm afraid I don't know of any indi BMW service workshops in your area but they are around, there is a guy in Ruislip Middlesex who advertises on eBay and a guy called motoscot near Dunstable and another in Cardiff , I'm sure there will be some one not too far from you. If ...

Re: Rear brake light permanently on

Aren't there two switches one for the rear peddle and one on the front brake too, in the past a good spray of contact cleaner has sorted out a sticky brake switch.

On the mono the rear one is a bitch to get to.

Re: Clutch Plates K75 : NEW Do you Soak in Oil before fitting?

I'm even more sure those instructions are for wet clutches as it mentions plates plural which wet clutches have , I've never seen a multiplate dry clutch on a BMW.

Re: Clutch Plates K75 : NEW Do you Soak in Oil before fitting?

I've never heard of any dry clutch needing to be oiled, certainly I didn't oil the clutch when I did one on a R80. I think you may have generic instructions / packaging from a firm that also supply's wet clutch plates. I'm sure someone will confirm but for god's sake in the meantime do nothing as I'...
