Re: BMW R80, Oxford lock?

I had a disc lock years ago. Worked for about 2 years till the lock would not undo when I was going out. Good thing it was at home and I cut it off.
I would now just put a padlock though the disc.

Re: Gearbox Issue Explained

Ehm All motorcycle "Wet" clutch run in the engine oil I’d wager that every Japanese motorcycle ever made runs the same oil in the clutch as it does the engine, and gear box, one common oil bath. I’ve had dozens of different Japanese bikes, and they are all like that. And a 1990 Harley Sportster, I’...

Re: Gas In Oil?

Indeed!

On a even more joyous note, I have for the first time actually cut open the old oil filter to check what it actually filtered... and what did I find?

Nothing!
That's good news.

I would check with a multimeter first as you don't know if the volt meter is correct.

Re: 1956 Panther on ebay

One firing stroke every lamp post! Back in my early biking days, Panthers could be picked up for buttons. Most of the old bikes could be picked up for a few pounds. I remember a mate got a 1952 plunger frame A10 for £15 and it was a runner. I picked up early 50s Bantam for £12 and had it just for w...

I had several bottles of Old Speckled Hen last night, chased down with several bottles of Doom Bar. Shouldn't have had quite so many, my head tells me today....
That was a nice beer till Green King got their hands on it.
