Thanks all, order placed with Somerset Commercials. I did have one of there’s but left it under the seat when I swapped my bike three years ago.

Shaft drive check
Hi all, I recall Milliplod recommending a bike shop who charge a reasonable price for checking the shaf5 drive. I’ve emailed him but guess he is away. Can anyone remember who it was please

Re: Ear defense
I always use ear plugs these days and put my current hearing issues (crowded rooms and loud background noise eg busy pub) in said environment down to my early biking days and the fact that I raced two strokes every weekend without protection.

Have a look at Regency Supersports near Chesterfield. It’s where I got mine. He has a similar one in at the mo. Really good chap and knows his bikes.

Re: how reliable 1200gs
I have a 55 plate 1200. Brilliant to ride anywhere. Only issue has been the gear selector indicator or potentiometer. It wouldn’t show neutral. This is a known issue and had my bike been built in Oct 55 it would have had the upgraded bit. This came after riding for about six hours in pouring rain. I ...

I met him once when I spent a day with him whilst he serviced my bike. His wood and his animals will be missing him.

Most accidents in tree felling come from similar situations where the under tree springs up. You could tether it before tackling the pinea section at a time.
