K1100RS engine oil ???

Hi Its me again.
I am in the process of buying engine oil for the K1100rs, and i am confronted by so many makes and types of engine oils all supposedly suitable for the K1100rs, now my question is; should i use a classic oil, or semi synthetic, or fully synthetic, probably not the latter me thinks, its an old engine so im thinking use an oil of that period, 10w-40 classic, as i have read that it has a sprag clutch that can fail if the synth oils are used, ?????
Does anyone have an opinion about engine oils that they swear by for instance.????
Then there are all the different makes, Castrol, Silkoline, Putoline,Rock,Motorex,shell,ipone,Motul, to most people an oil is an oil, but i know some suit different engines better than others, but having been away from the trade for so long now, it would be nice to hear what you guys think.

Just bung in a good quality oil

Car oil will do As its a dry clutch

10W 40 15W 40 20w 50 It all works

Great bikes But avoid fully synth it can pee out the seals as it can be low viscosity

pssst litre of atf and then run for 20 mins and drop the oil and let it drain over night
