Two power supplies to signal relay?

Postby King Herald » Wed Jun 05, 2019 6:52 pm

I was browsing the wiring diagrams for my ‘97 1100r, seeking to answer a question for someone on Facebook, and I notice there are two fuses supplying the turn relay. #3 and #4. Anybody know why? Both will kill the indicators if removed on their own. 8-[

It would appear one is supposed to be 30amp, but mine has 15 in.

Both should be 15A, so all good..
One (F3) is constant live, the other (F4) is switched.. This is so you can have the hazards flashing while the ignition is off, however, you need to turn the ignition on first, then switch on the hazards and turn off the ignition, and they will continue to flash.
