Confession time

Postby JoburgGeordie » Thu Aug 08, 2013 7:49 pm

OK chaps, I'm stumped, I am trying to register on the Boxerworks site, yes, I know, and I cant get the answer to their anti spam question, which is:
What are old BMW motorcycles sometimes affectionately called?:
This question is a means of preventing automated form submissions by spambots.
I have tried BM, BM's Beemer, Beemers, Boxer, boxers. BMW and I am now out of ideas. Am I just thick or am I not worthy to enter the site, not knowing the answer to this simple question..

any ideas
G

My granddaughter calls mine 'smelly old motorbike' but you could try airhead.

And the winner is: Airheads.. the way the question was phrased, I was wondering what my grand dad would have called them. It would not have been airheads, I'm sure of that.
ANYWAY, ONE MORE FORUM TO CHEK IN ON FROM TIME TO TIME.

In an attempt to find out what the problem is that you're having, I registered on the site in the last few minutes.
I used the word Airheads as the answer to the question and had an immediate reply with an activation email as shown in the picture.
The password requires you to use characters, numbers and both upper and lower case letters to start the process. As an example ReGisteR//2016 which is not a real password. If you have any further problems I suggest that you contact the Administrator of the Boxerworks forum.

At a guess the bill probably hasn't been paid. Most servers only take DD's via card and if you renew your card you have to remember to login and change the details. And yes, I#ve come close more than once when a card has been renewed......

Thanks for the suggestion Phil.
Incidentally that's a timely reminder to organise donations for 2017 to this site. Don't be shy about putting the Donate tab in place again.
