1933 BMW R2 Wheels

Postby mdavid896 » Thu Nov 16, 2017 8:43 pm

I am relacing the wheels of a 1933 BMW R2. Does anyone know the offsets for these hubs and rims?

You could try asking on the Einzylinder forum.
They are a very knowledgeable group

Welcome to the forum!

There are a few members on here running Vintage and Veteran BMW bikes who may be able to help you or provide contacts who can.

If you don't find an answer to your query here, you might try the American 'Vintage BMW Motorcycle Owners (VBMWMO) Club' some of whose members are running R2s:

How about going along to the 'Introduce Yourself' forum and telling us a little bit about yourself and your wonderful R2? :bounce:

You could just lay the rims on two planks, then measure and note the height to the top of the rims, then to the top of the hubs.
Do this both sides up. Something I was told to do in my short stint at a certain dealer.
Best roads: 623 Burgos to Santander. A back road to Metz; can't remember which!

Too many bikes have come and gone, trying to be sensible now!
