R100T 1979 restoration
Hi folks, I’ve posted previously regarding this topic but the responses have vanished into the ether, anyhow I have a budget of £2500 for someone to refurb the brakes/ suspension on a R100T that hasn’t run for a decade. Am I wildly off piste with the costing here for this work to be completed? Responses appreciated thanks.

Hi,
According to your profile you have only made the one post here. Are you getting mixed up with a similar request you made on the BMW Club forum?

Hi
looks like you will need to do "Unleaded heads", fluids, filters, plugs, points, carb rebuild, fuel hoses, battery, as well as tyres, brake seals and hoses -- all easy for a garage but an independent will have the experience to do it well and quickly.
Good luck
George

If you put your location in your profile then people could advise you on suitable local places for the work if you are not doing it yourself.

The poster is in Liverpool.
Two very good independents have been suggested.

When he first posted on The BMW forum, he was asked for his location.

It's the forum of The BMW Club UK. I think the OP may also have the two mixed up.
