Hyperpro suspension upgrade 2015 F800 GT

Postby Goldbug101 » Mon Apr 15, 2019 11:50 am

Hello all.

I t thought the suspension on my otherwise excellent 2015 GT was a bit lacklustre. it tends to transmit all road bumps straight to my arms, while the ride quality is fairly so-so, even after adding a Sargent lowered comfort seat.

A visit to Motorworks opened an Aladdin's cave of goodies, notably Hyperpro suspension upgrades.swap out springs from the front forks and the rear shock and ride the benefits. The bits took a few weeks to arrive as the rear spring was out of stock when I ordered. I also ordered the throttle brake 'cruise control to ease the strain on my arm when riding the boring bits.

on the face of it the spring replacement *seems fairly strAightforward. Just waiitng for Haynes manual to turn up and provide some more professional guidance.i believe the suspension needs some setup adjustments to ensure it performs at its best and I would rather carry these out at the physical stage rather than when I'm leaning the bike over in a twisty bend.

If anyone's done a suspension upgrade or had it done and has any 'how to' and 'do not' tips and wrinkles to share I would be very pleased to hear them. \\i'd be even more pleased to hear from someone who's willing to come and lend me a hand there is cash in it!I am in NR28 just outside North Walsham.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I fitted a ‘Hyperpro’ rear spring to my Kawasaki Versys and it transformed the ride and handling. It came with its own instructions on how to set the preload and damping.
Excellent product.
