Took the Strada in for MOT Thursday, passed ok, but comment on front brake slightly binding. Arrived home and front disc was warmer than I would expect. Removed the caliper which had new pads 1000 miles ago, slides easily on its pins and could push both pistons back with my thumbs. Could see no fault so re assembled. Brake works well and clears on release of leaver but there is still slight resistance to the wheel turning.
This is my first bike with a sliding caliper, previous bikes have had conventional calipers, so is this a quirk of this arrangement or is there something I have missed? John
