Hi
no problem, I was given the starter unit for Christmas a while back-- it works well, unless you leave it in the tent the day your battery fails.

I have an earlier generation of the charger which works well but this new one looks even better.

I picked up the Livarno lux led cree torch this week for £4.99. It's around 6 inches long and comes with a canvas belt holder. Very bright and well built.

SOCKS!

I know, very exciting. Not.

But they do some great full length socks just right for motorcycle boots. £6.99.

Good price that Barry, I’ve tentatively been looking for one. The light in the shed is not too bright when you need to get to certain parts of the bike, cheers.

Hi
I'm told they dont fade out as the battery voltage drops, instead they go from bright to off. I was told this by a mate who discovered it when he was under a car

At the moment Aldi and Lidl are suffering from the essential goods rules which while understandable in principle are difficult to understand in practice, resulting in variable implementation stuff available in one store and restricted in another, ironically this lamp is available in my local store !

Don't forget that if riding in France then gloves must be CE approved (European directive 89/686 / EEC). The advert doesn't say anything about CE approval.

It's daft is that. If you wear gloves for protection then OK but that should not stop you wearing gloves to keep your fingers warm.

I meant when I am motorcycling. Generally I don't wear gloves unless it is cold then I will wear fingerless knitted gloves until it is very cold then I will wear my Kevlar ones but do not really like riding with them.
