K100/1100 sidecar frames
O.K. here is a question for you. My '84 K100 sidecar outfit is becoming unreliable (old/bodged wiring)and is also a bit underpowered. However it has a sidecar subframe, car rear wheel conversion and leading link forks. Can I swap the bike for something more modern and powerful that will take the sidecar specific bits I already have. I was thinking 16V K100 or a K1100LT or RS. I know the wheel base is different but is that just due to the paralever, leaving the engine mountings, frame tubes over the engine and steering head angle the same as the K100?
