Hello again

Postby Issy » Sat Oct 06, 2018 7:59 pm

Hi

I have re-registered on the forum as I lost my old details, I used to use the username Old bloke.

I have been using my Royal Enfield since I gave my F650 to my son but the lure of the BMW is too much so when I saw a K100 project on ebay for £650 I had to have it. It's good to be back.

Ian

P.S. The username comes from one of my grand-daughters who couldn't pronounce my name and called me Issy.

Hi
pleased to see you back, please put your location in your profile so we can give you local advice.

This area is supposed to be to introduce yourself ---- but if you could start a thread in the F section I would be pleased to hear how the enfield compares to the F650 since I have thought about the F a few times

Welcome back Ian. What happened to the R1100 you had with the HES problem?

Hi there

I fitted new HES from Motorworks and it ran lovely. I used it for a while then decided my needs demanded something a little less powerful and so I sold it to a nice guy who was looking for one to restore. I bought the F650 (well I actually bought three but the first two were stolen) that I have just given my son and used my Enfield for a while.

The Enfield is brilliant but I am hoping to go to Orkney next year so I decided to buy the K100 project. I think another F650 would have been more sensible but this K came up at the right price.

Thanks for asking.

Ian
