Hi,
I'm BikeMike and despite being very old, I'm a keen rider and have had many mcs, old and not so old. I now have a 2007 K1200 GT and a 2011 K1300s, both of which my wife and I love.
I live near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. I'm not very mechanical but do like to try to maintain my bikes myself, when possible and with the right advice. These are my first BMWs!

New member from NE Michigan, USA. Recently purchased a pristine 1998 R1100RT from a gentleman who wasn't riding enough to justify it taking up space in his garage. I've been riding Goldwings for many years, but recently decided that at 75 I don't tour anymore and no longer had the strength to muscle it around and needed something somewhat lighter and more nimble. Thus, I purchased my neighbors machine and so far am very happy. It's not my first Beemer, third actually, so the learning curve has been fairly short. Anyway, I'm looking forward to contributing when I can and asking for help when necessary.
Regards,
Deke
